This is a project that intertwines the two things which have always been in conflict in my life: being Chinese and playing rugby & doing crossfit

“大” (da) was one of my biggest trigger words growing up. 大 = big.

My legs were 太大了(tai da le), my shoulders were 太大了(tai da le), my arms, my butt, all my muscles… are 太大了(tai da le). too big, too muscular, too masculine. 大 for a chinese woman, is a very negative thing…

But what’s wrong with having big legs & big muscles & big, strong arms?
